Did you know that a heat pump is often capable of cooling your home as well as delivering heating and hot water? By effectively working in reverse, a heat pump could be the solution you need to keep your home cool in the summer and warm through the winter...

Kitchen and Living Area

Why consider a heat pump for cooling?

There's no denying the weather and temperatures in the UK are becoming increasingly unpredictable. From periods of bitter cold, to sweltering summer heat, extreme weather seems to be the new normal. Added to this we have noticed a trend that seems here to stay when it comes to open plan living. Many people are opting for big beautiful ceiling windows and bi-fold doors (and why wouldn't you), but with these attractive designs, comes a risk that your space will feel hotter in the summer. This is especially true for south facing rooms, where the sun shines through the glass and heats the room quickly. Often air-conditioning units are seen as the only solution, but heat pumps can be a great alternative to cooling your home.

'I love my new extension and the bi-fold doors are brilliant, I just wish it wasn't 28 degrees in my kitchen on a sunny day!'
